My 100th Credit on Drupal AI

Hey Hey! A small milestone today: my credits on the Drupal AI module crossed 100 on Drupal.org.

I set this target for myself quietly, around the time I was asked to work on the Drupal AI Initiative last year. Nothing official. Just a number to keep me moving on the days when a long issue queue feels like homework.

I’m not a big cricket fan anymore, but I used to be. And 100 runs is a century. You raise the bat, the crowd claps, and then you take fresh guard and keep batting. So today I’m raising the bat.

That 100 is roughly a year of work. But let me be honest about it: one person does not get there alone. The Drupal AI Initiative has real momentum right now. Issues get reviewed fast, maintainers reply, releases keep landing, and there is always a next thing to pick up. Momentum like that makes contributing feel light. Without it, this number is not possible.

If you’re not part of it yet, come join. And ask your org to support the initiative. It will do good things for you and for your org as Drupal adopts more and more of the AI ecosystem.

Especially now, with the Outside AI workstream Dries just launched. The direction is a fun one: Drupal becomes a power tool that other AI agents can drive, and a solid source of well-structured, processed data for them. Drupal is not just a CMS anymore. It is a lot more than that.

You can see in the card above that most of my credits carry the Dropsolid name — 195 of them. That is what org support looks like in practice: they sponsor my time on Drupal AI, and the whole community gets the output. Thank you for that.
